Grants per completion calculator

Turn what an offerwall pays you per completion into the number of chances or units one completion can afford to grant.

Offerwall and shortlink inventory pays in fractions of a cent, and your site pays in whatever currency you invented. Getting the conversion between them wrong in either direction is how a faucet either dies or feels pointless.

The arithmetic is short: revenue per completion, minus the margin you intend to keep, divided by what one of your units is worth, divided by what a chance costs you on average.

Two of those numbers should be measured rather than guessed. Use the median revenue per completion, not the advertised headline, and measure the average payout per chance from real play rather than from the reward table.

Notes

The margin and the user share are two ways of saying the same thing, so this takes the lower of them. If they disagree badly, one of them is not what you actually intend.

Prefer more chances to a bigger rate. Twenty small chances bring a user back twenty times; one large one does not.

If a completion affords less than one unit, you need a minimum award floor — otherwise cheap inventory displays as +0 and users conclude the site is broken.

None of this survives fraud. Budget something for it: unprotected sites routinely lose a fifth of the payout budget to multi-accounting.
